Contribuer aux commentairesMy son and I went to celebrate his birthday... I knew the Weis restaurant had a ramp for wheelchair access so didn't see a problem. When reserving a table, I also informed them that my companion is in a wheelchair, and they were allowed to take this into account. When I arrived, it turned out that the terrace had not been cleared of snow and it was up to my son in a wheelchair to make his way through the snow to the door. He is extremely good, doesn't complain, doesn't whine, fights his fight alone... and he got in. I hoped to myself that people with no experience of handling snow in a wheelchair would understand this and clear about 2 square meters of the terrace in 2 hours, but it didn't happen. I was extremely disappointed and sad. I don't like to write and send such posts, but I feel that this time it was my duty. Is it really that hard to be caring and make life a little easier for those who have been treated unfairly by fate?
