Shawarma El Mina - Kingston

The other night we had a craving for Lebanese food, so we checked tripadvisor Kingston. Much to our delight, one of the highly recommended restaurant was a 7 minute walk from our house. The place was busy when we arrived. The portions are huge (my husband and I shared a veggie platter). The price is very affordable. The people working there were very pleasant. This is going to be our go-to place for sure!

Great Takeout, big selection for both meat lovers and vegetarians, small eat in area, but the food is excellent and the portions are huge - my wife and I split a vegetarian platter and there was plenty for both of us and the price is extremely reasonable.

Kingston gets a new shawarma restaurant! The beef and chicken are really quite good but the quantity of food overall is very very impressive. I consistently have dinner and lunch the next day in one order. Cilantro garlic potatos, pickled turnip, tomatoes, onions, rice. It's a welcome addition to the area. The beef kafta was really good aswell. Seasoned right, moist and firm, and the right temperature!

I have been in Kingston for 8 years now, and was waiting to finally have a delicious shwarma without having to drive to Toronto! It is here!! Fantastic sauce, generous portions and friendly staff. The place has been busy every time I have gone, so leave a bit of time (not fast food), but the ordering is fast, friendly and the food is fresh and made to order. Highly recommend this place!

Great food, great prices and genuinely friendly staff - would recommend wholeheartedly to stop in for lunch or dinner. Eat in our takeout both an option but would recommend eating in if you have the time.
