We met our daughters to satisfy our mutual craving for Greek food and we were pleasantly surprised. Despite its small size, this authentic family-owned restaurant in Kingwood exceeded our expectations. While they primarily do takeout business, there are a few tables for dining in. We started with hummus, tazitki, and dolmades (stuffed grape leaves) which disappeared quickly. Our entrees of spanikopita, Greek meatballs, gyros, and bean soup were both delicious and promptly served. Make sure to leave room for dessert. Taste of Greek may be small, but the food is very Greek and incredibly tasty.
I really like the food at this restaurant. The service was excellent and the dishes were of high quality and full of flavor. Unfortunately, the prices are a bit high, so I can't come here regularly.
Food is delicious !!!!!!! Friendly service, family owned! Eat here with a friend before...now brought husband and he loved it ! Glad to have this restaurant close to home!
I am huge fan of Greek food. I have a rating system that roughly equates to the number of napkins it takes for me to eat a Greek meal, with gusto, and appreciation. This was a FOUR napkin endeavor, with a bonus star for how charming and happy to share the culture/food the staff at this restaurant appear to be. Is it a little pricey? Perhaps but it is also authentic, made to order, and made with love for the food. The lamb? The lamb was as good as the lamb I have had in Greece. If you have not been to this gem, this wonderful small establishment, then you should go. Why are you still reading this? Go. Now. It is that good, I assure you. and don't forget to try the baklava!
