I grab something to eat before my haircut but I was still hungry so I stopped in at New York Fries for a snack. You really can't go wrong with fries when they're fine right and New York Fries knows what you're doing. You can get your fries with all sorts of stuff on them but I prefer the taste of nice crispy deep-fried potato. you You've got lots of other choices in the Cambridge Centre food court but New York Fries is one of the better places.
It may be a bit ironic, but New York Fries is actually a Canadian restaurant chain and does not have any locations in New York, let alone New York City! A visit to the mall is not complete without trying their Braised Beef Poutine, which features freshly cut and cooked fries topped with cheese curds and braised beef (angus cubes, carrots, onions, and mushrooms in a red wine sauce). While I occasionally opt for the Butter Chicken, I typically go for the beef poutine. With a sprinkle of California seasoning and malt vinegar, it's ready to be enjoyed. It's a satisfying meal all in one bowl - no need for anything else but a drink! Delicious!
New York Fries, located in the Conestoga Mall, offers a variety of poutine options as well as other dishes featuring fries.
I had my first meal out in Kitchener at Taste of Philly Cheesesteak and tried their delicious Philly cheesesteak sandwich.
