She didn't know where things were on her computer which is understandable, however the order didn't come out right. I ordered a sandwich and a plate for the salad bar. Instead I got half a sandwich with chips on the side. I was like whatever, food is food. I'll just eat it and be out of here. Thats when part way through my sandwich I see this tiny bug crawling around in it, looked like Lice. Gordon Ramsey would have shut the place down within 5 minutes.
Very very good restaurant. They have sandwiches and wraps and a salad bar with seconds. Also have free soft serve ice cream with purchase of regular food. I got the new Alamo wrap and it was delicious.
I haven't been here in years. During the days of covid, they decided to quietly switch the salad bar to 1 trip without warning or notice. I had heard they reverted back to a standard bar a couple years ago so I decided it was finally time to give them a try again. It's now 1.5 trips to the salad bar and it's not clearly listed anywhere and the pricing is ambiguous and vague as well. Despite what the fake reviews say, this place is still playing games and is a shell of its former self.
I hadn't been to a Jason's deli in a long time, so I was looking forward to it. Now I'm wondering why. The food was mediocre at best. Portion size was good, but my Reuben had absolutely no distinct flavors at all, and my wife's muffaletta was mostly olive spread. Tiny little portion of mostly crumbled up bottom of the bag chips. Overpriced in my opinion. Maybe they just had an off day but I don't think so. Everything was just flat, including the service. Lots of other sandwich shops out there... Next time I think I'll go to one of them.
Great options on the menu with, by far, the best salad bar in Knoxville. The free soft serve ice cream is a nice touch!
