Adjacent to the burg - castle this restaurant offers typical Austrian cuisine. so soups and meat. preferable to choose fillet with side dish of vegetables salad or cooked vegetables. considering that you are in austria the quality is good. the view of the city offers something more than other premises. of course that for an Italian cuisine and sight will not be able to be just enough. there is more to be Italian!

In the gastgarten you have a great view over the city voitsberg. unique and romantic in the evening.The menu is clearly large and oriented to fresh regional cuisine.Besides the menu there are also 2-3 seasonal dishes that eat is excellent and great. you notice the bonfire experience of the chef ;-)only excitement : the very good small card could be changed more often all in all excellent eating with great intention

To find a very good restaurant in the western Styria is really not always easy. in direction stainz the offer becomes better, but voitsberg has gastronomic not really much to offer. most famous is the burg restaurant, which is idyllic next to the burgruine drohnt. the menu really makes hope, but this can not be implemented really well. our fish on the pie was simply not salted and despite all the spice-up attempts with the salt-scattered, the whole food was a real disappointment. also the service could be significantly more friendly. we have eaten much better here. I believe the quality of the food depends on whether the chef personally puts on hand or not.
