El Chivi Uruguayan Steak Sandwiches

Went there for lunch today , had the americano and it was Devine !! Succulent and tender and juicy , all over my mouth and hands yummm . Definitely will be going back soon . Can’t wait .

I normally go to Grill'd for my steak sanga fix, but ever since they shrunk it, it was time for me to move on. So I gave this place a go, oh man was my choice excellent! I ordered the El Suarez, was meant to be spicy but it was mild so don't be scared for those who can't handle the heat. The steak was so tender, every bite was without worry of ripping the whole steak out. I find this being a problem with allot of cafe these days who don't tenderize it properly. The whole thing just worked, from the pickles offsetting the jalapenos, to the egg and bacon making it the lot! I want another one just writing this, will be back.

A friend introduced me to the El Chivi recently. And I’m so very happy he did. Have been back numerous times. They are delicious !! Recommend the Suarez and the Vegan. So much flavour, and the steak is so soft and easy to eat. <br/ Make sure your hungry when you try the Suarez. You won’t need to eat again for the rest of the day. <br/ Will be back for more. <br/

Had the pleasure of trying these steak sandwiches over the weekend and I must say i was severely impressed! Couldnt ask for a better flavour combination in the El Suarez. Pickles, jalepinos, the sauces, olives! Everything you want. The steak was tender and not too thick which is the pitfall of most steak sandwiches that I have tried. El Chivi has revolutionised the steak sandwitch! will be returning again and again!

In a saturated Melbourne burger market, the El Chivi steak sandwich flavour bombs are something entirely unique. The food has been consistently delicious and fresh no matter which festival or event I've eaten at, and I'm so happy they now have a pop up location in QV so I can get my chivi fix whenever. The original El Chivi with added dill pickles is my fave ; They probably also do one of the best vegan takeaway dishes too!
