Located right next to the cinema, it is the perfect spot to swing by before/ after the movies or even to take inside. We ordered with our eyes as you do and ended up with probably way too many dishes but I am proud to say we demolished them all. We ordered the original chicken with bone and half half garlic soy and sweet chilli chicken all on the bone. For the sides we got the potato heaven which was like heaven , kim chi pancake, bulgogi beef, Korean dumplings , mozzarella sticks and some Korean chicken burgers. The chicken was juicy and tender, crispy on the outside but still retained moisture on the inside. We thoroughly enjoyed the cheese sticks which we were told were made in house and not an item that all Gami stores offer due to how hard it is to make , I will be buying a few to snack on if I ever go watch a movie for sure. The potato heaven is a dish I order every time I visit Gami and the one here was delicious, a lot of cheese on top of creamy mash with heaps and heaps of sour cream and sweet chilli- perfection ! All in all we had an amazing time at Gami, the service was quick and staff extremely friendly
We have been to Gami’s a few times now, and have enjoyed it every time. The service is great, the food amazing, and the jug of Korean beer.. priceless
What a amazing experience so **** good . Relaxed service and the best chicken so good
I’ve been to gami a fair few times. I got the usual. Boneless chicken with sweet chilli sauce plus the potato heaven. But this time we also got the corn cheese. The service was super friendly the food came out really quickly as well. The chicken and potato heaven is always good this time was the same. The corn cheese was delicious!
Its been nearly 1.5 years since I last visited Eastland and I spent nearly all afternoon here. Its a nice change to shop, dine in a different shopping centre. I was starting to feel hungry and had no idea what to eat, I wandered around a bit and I spotted Gami Chicken. I really need a good Fried Chicken fix so I thought why not!!<br/ Haha.<br/ <br/ LOCATION<br/ Gami Chicken is located on Level 2 amongst other spacious restaurants in that area on same side as Hoyts cinema.<br/ The decor is very simple, with long high tables in the centre and normal standard tables surround the restaurant against the 2 walls and facing the main open frontage.<br/ <br/ SERVICE<br/ As soon as I walked in, the waitress at the counter greeted me with a smile and seated me straight away. She gave me menu and was very attentive when I asked some questions.<br/ <br/ MENU/PRICE<br/ Alot of options on the menu, wanted to try many things, next time need to make note to visit in a bigger group so can order other foods to share so can try more!<br/ <br/ Gami Eastland has lunch special for $13.00, I was very tempted but then I just wanted to try their Korean Fried Chicken (KFC). So in the end I ordered:<br/ <br/ 8 piece original chicken wing (with 2 sauces), $12.50<br/ I selected Soy Garlic which was cooked with the chicken, and honey mustard sauce on the side.<br/ <br/ VERDICT<br/ Yum yum yum! <br/ The chicken was very fresh and tender. The batter was light. Very flavour some. I was pleasantly surprised.<br/ The Original KFC on its on without any sauce is a bit bland, therefore dipping it into the honey mustard sauce was good to give it some flavour. However, I particularly enjoyed the Soy Garlic which was lightly cooked through which still maintained its crispyness!<br/ <br/ I like how it came with some sides of picked radish and salad cabbage/coleslaw with mayo, however please do not add tomato sauce, it really ruined it.
