We loved the ambience and the whole white walls and interiors, definitely gave it a minimalist vibe. We decided to try the prawn roll and breakfast burger. For drinks we took the Bananarama and Cleanse smoothie. The prawn roll was super light and had fresh flavours. There was a generous serving of prawn tossed in a marie rose sauce. The brioche bun was soft yet crunchy at the same time. A squeeze of lemon before biting into the roll enhanced the roll and gave it that taste of having fresh seafood. The brekkie burger was decent with the standard filing of egg, cheese, spinach and bacon. This would be great for those who like to stick to the staples. Both smoothies were really good! The bananarama was not overly sweet and we liked the addition of yoghurt in the drink. The green smoothie was good with kale, cucumber, apple and celery juice. Definitely a good cafe to try out in you are in the area!
We were very happy campers at @no.19society! Beautiful food that offered a range of non-conventional brunch options. I really loved the airy space of the café too, the big windows provide a lot of natural light which complemented the timber nicely.<br/ <br/ SMOOTHIES
4.5<br/ <br/ With the change of season, cafes often revamp their menu and No.19 is no different. After missing out on some of the old dishes, I was determined not to miss out on trying the Strawberry Fields here. A beautifully executed dish comprising of elderflower strawberries, prosecco jelly, white chocolate cremaux, toasted meringue and caramelised pastry, each mouthful presents different textural elements and flavour combination. The flavours balanced out one another beautifully, and the flaky caramelised pastry is incredibly addictive to munch on by itself.<br/ <br/ Another dish that showcased amazing flavours is the Adobo Bowl. The brown rice add a healthy touch, contrasting nicely with the sinful pork belly and the sweet and smoky adobo glaze. The cucumbers added a nice crunch to the dish, and the tomatoes brought with it light and bright flavours. <br/ <br/ The Prawn Roll wowed me as well. Covered in marie rose sauce, the prawns were tangy and flavoursome, and you definitely will be licking your fingers after. The soft brioche roll did a great job holding together the abundance of prawns stuffed within. <br/ <br/ Smoothies are always a good choice here at No.19. The smooth and creamy Nutberry and Snickers smoothies never disappoint and are super filling to the point of being a meal in itself. The iced latte was a great brew and easy to drink too.<br/ <br/ Can’t wait to see what the coming seasons will bring to the menu at No.19.
We were invited to No19 today and I’m happy to say it’s as delicious as ever. Their cured salmon side is something else and I thoroughly recommend. Today I got the refresh juice which was watermelon based and very summery. We enjoyed the passionfruit bircher which was prettily presented and full of flavour. UpdateWe were delighted to be invited to No19 again, I loved that avo dish so much last time I simply had to have it again! I’m pleased to report consistency in presentation and yumminess which is very important. I also tried the nutberry smoothie this time which was heavenly and also sampled from their deliciously tempting sweet range in the form of a nostalgic honey joy butterbing, absolutely perfect! Undoubtedly one of the greats of the Melbourne brunch scene Original reviewI was invited to No19 this morning and it was an absolutely fabulous breakfast experience. The cafe itself was slick and modern with gorgeous interiors and the food was faultless.I started with the vitamin juice (Melbourne winter cold life which was delicious as I pondered the menu. I almost didn’t order the avocado toast as I knew it was chunks not smashed (from some Instagram research, don’t we all do this?! but I am soooo glad I chose it. An unbelievably generous amount of avo paired perfectly with Persian feta and tomatoes, a nice little poachie some pickled golden beets and a smear of miso hummus. I also got a side of cured salmon which was absolutely delicious too.Note the Zomato menu listed here is not current but I thoroughly recommend the chocolate French toast if you are a sweet tooth. It’s a visual feast and it’s choc toffee crown was a chewy crunchy textural showstopper. Decadent Ferraro rocher ice cream atop chocolate brioche with berries and poached pears drizzled in caramel sauce, this was an utter work of art. The presentation was gorgeous and the fruit cut through the richness of the dish. This is a really great cafe but sadly much too far away for me to be a regular. Maybe they could expand the empire in the eastern suburbs...
Absolutely love the food, vibe and service here! We love how the quality is always consistent, delicious and wholesome. The highlight of our meal was the prawn burger! They can generally be a hit or miss but this was AMAZING, the king prawn patty was fresh and flavourful. Paired with the soft brioche bun makes for an amazing burger. Highly recommend you visit this cafe if you haven't so!
