I chose the ‘Croque Monsieur with Swiss cheese, gruyere, ham and herb béchamel $11.00)’. It was rich and buttery with just the right amount of fillings. An indulgent sandwich that went perfectly with my latte.
Regular customer for over a year, always exceptional customer service, the food is always fresh and tastes amazing the schnitzel wrap in particular. Always quick to eat or for a coffee. Perfect for a sit down or in a rush, recommended!
For a cafe/bar inside Myer, this place is just top notch. <br/ <br/ You can opt out for the cheaper option and head to Brunetti's on level 3, but you are most likely going to have a worse customer experience than you would at The Salon.<br/ <br/ All of the staff here are just an absolute delight to all of their customers upon every visit, regardless of how busy or quiet the cafe is. <br/ <br/ Their level of consistency in service, coffee and food exceeds what I would expect from a cafe inside a department store. <br/ <br/ If you do happen to be shopping at Myer Melbourne, please do drop by to this cafe during your shopping break. It is definitely most worth it purely because of the level of service.
At first glance little enclave of plush opulence within the busy Myer Melbourne store. The perfect place to put up one's feet (not literally of course and watch the world (I mean shoppers go past...that's if you can nab a place to sit! The decor is lovely little lamps, leather sofas, touches of velvet. The coffee here is excellent too, and a good enough range of sweet treats too. I do love sitting up at the bench with a latte and a muffin and staring into the Sass and Bide (I think? collection. The staff have generally been pretty friendly, though sometimes ordering at the counter can be chaos in busing periods. The only down side the paucity of seats!
