Nice food! We were lucky to offer a table without reservation. Very delicious.

Nice restaurant with very kind people. They have three different tasting menus for foreigners and they speak english. A bit expensive but worth it (the cheapest menu was 50 euros per person)

Good restaurant with delicious food and nice owner. It is located in the central of Gion area, just next to Gion Corner where you could watch Geisha show

We had the set lunch of Oyakodon, rice, chicken, onion and eggs, served in a sizzling hot stone bowl. First time that either had this dish but it was excellent. Staff were all very friendly, spoke excellent English and helped with how best to eat this dish. Very filling and helped down with some iced oolong (included).

A decent place for decent food. Can stop by to try. Drop by before 2pm and got a seat pretty fast. General English no issue. Server doesn't look happy but I guess that's the way they behave in general.
