Solomillo Steak House - La Dorada

El restaurante de carne no sabe cocinar los filetes. El New York Strip cocido de manera desigual, puré de patatas frías. Servicio mediocre. El corte de New York Strip desperdiciado. Algunas piezas bien cocidas, otras crudas. El puré de patata fría en el medio. Servicio mediocre.

The worst service in town, eating very regularly, bad waiters with posture, could not get the order right, the customer service manager is completely incompetent, would not go again if it was free

Excellent quality of steak, pork and beef, but above all large appetizers such as fried plantain and Yuca. Good selection of drinks and desserts. Very convenient for quick lunch when you work in the area and great location in the Santa Ana Mall North Bogota.... I'd like to go when I come to visit because my office is right across.

I frequent the Radisson Hotel (soon to be NH) so the Santa Ana shopping center, along with the food court, is handy. I tried the Solomillo once ... found the service mas o menos , the food flavorful but the meat extremely tough. My wife joined...me on a subsequent visit. One evening we were both tired, but wanted out of the hotel. We decided to try the Solomillo again assuming my first visit was an anomaly. Unfortunately it was a repeat experience. Neither of us felt the food was worth the price, especially the t-o-u-g-h meat. To add insult to injury, there was some kind of a class being given in the back of the dining room with a VERY LOUDspeaker. A photographer was taking pictures of meals ... and we were abandoned by the wait staff. I continue to visit the Radisson, but have found the restaurant in front of Solomillo has far superior food and service. Adios Solomillo.

Had a great appy- the steak was great and the wine made it even better...will be back for sure in the future...make sure you try the chicharone its delicious
