This restaurant is perfect for special occasions, especially their cakes. Michele created a customized cake for my parent's 50th golden wedding anniversary, and it turned out absolutely stunning! Our guests loved the Gateau Aileen, which was loaded with fresh fruit and had the perfect level of sweetness. The staff provided excellent service, they were friendly and genuinely helpful.

I was very disappointed with the cake we ordered for my son's 18th birthday from this restaurant. I had heard great things about this place from friends, so I was really looking forward to it. However, the chocolate cake we received was extremely dry. It seemed like it had been made days earlier, frozen, and then thawed before serving. We followed the directions and served it at room temperature, but it was still very dry. I was disappointed and embarrassed to serve it to our family and friends.

OMG! I just had a piece of the pistachio cake and it was amazing. It literally tasted like a pistachio macaron, but as a cake. I'm bummer I only bought one slice. Next time, two, so my husband and I don't have to fight over the last bite.

Nestled in the back of a small plaza, the shop can only accommodate around 6 people inside. They serve espresso and offer a variety of pastries, mini cakes, slices of cakes, and full cakes. I specifically came for the Gateau Aileen, which costs $12 and has been calling my name through photos. Despite its towering appearance, the Gateau Aileen was surprisingly easy to eat in one sitting. The four layers of cake were separated by fresh fruit, giving it a light and fluffy texture. Although a bit dry, the fresh strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, and cream between each layer provided the moisture and texture needed. Each bite was a delightful combination of flavors that kept me wanting more. I highly recommend trying the Gateau Aileen and I will definitely be back to sample other slices of cake. JABA approved.
