Zoe's Ice Cream Barn - Lagrangeville

I was about 20 times in this business and never had a problem with it. However, today I have experienced the worst service I have ever experienced from any business in my life. I was on the line for 20 minutes and was the only person in the line. There was a man sitting behind the desk waiting for me for my ice cream. Now I understand if he did something productive and had me wait for a minute or two, but he stood behind the desk staring in the room instead of serving me. After they finally took over my orders, the boy got his ice in front of me. In addition, I had a place I had to be. This service was the worst experience I've ever had, and I don't think they'll expect from me again.

With two friends. The prices were decent, but the portions were modest, with one of the portions significantly smaller than the others (we all ordered two scoop channels). All three of our portions had two flavors and all the flavors we had tried had mixed very few toppings. Between my two pots ice I had mixed two pieces so that the cherry vanilla and muddy boots flavors were essentially both simple vanilla. The front tractor was sweet, but we all found the ice disappointing. 1.5/5 stars, wouldn't come back.

It was a very pleasant place to sit down and have ice cream. My granddaughter and I also had an order of French fries. The fries were delicious. They were cut slimmer than regular fries, so they didn't have soft potato inside.

Family-friendly ice cream parlor using only the freshest ingredients (no dairy products are harvested from cows within three days of final consumption). Foodstuffs such as burgers and mozzarella sticks, also extremely fresh. Spacious interior with several tables. Local produce is on sale, such as maple syrups. Outside are a gimmicky red tractor and a photogenic pillory. Along the side and in the back are picnic tables. This place gets very busy on weekends, so come early or default to Haagen-Das!

My first time was here today and I regret not coming earlier. Not only was the ice amazing, but the staff was amazing. Accompanying and friendly and very appreciated. I highly recommend this place!!
