The Ranch At Laguna Beach

We were here for the birthday of my wife and the photos really sold us to this place. I was disappointed that our balcony had no private sphere and led to a walk. the service was not the best and we had to wait several times until our requests are met. the pool was only average and had nothing special about it. I don't think I'd stay here considering the service, room quality and resort amentities.

Too many teens working here.. The use of plastic and take away containers at the pool bar is not sustainable by any means. It’s lazy bad for the environment. Be sure to make reservations at the restaurant or they will give you a hard time, even as a hotel guest.

Incredible resort at the south end of Laguna Beach. Incredible property with top notch service. Broad selection of food options on the property. Short walk to an incredible string of beaches. Highly recommend The Ranch.

Lovely resort in a great location but overpriced for what it is..very few amenities (outside golf . Pool is ok and staff are very helpful. Some unexpected additional charges at checkout (parking? Would be tempted to stay closer to town centre next time we visit.

If I could possibly give a zero, that would be my preference. I had reservations 4 days in advance. Long story short. I was informed By Stu who was compelled to point to his name tag, each time he said his name? My table had been given away TWICE while I waited 10 feet away at the bar in full view! Also where I sat for at least 20 minutes to get a drink and another 10 to pay for my drink. This was a Sunday and the place was not packed? After my experience, not a stretch to imagine. I was told by Stu he was working on the next available table for us. I returned again to find, Oh I'm sorry we are closed from 3-5.... Wait what? I was then told we were welcome to order from a different menu and sit outside at one of the fire pit seating areas, ok so we go to that area, the only waitress we ever saw was the one who came to inform us, the fire pit seating areas are reserved weeks in advance and we have 10 minutes to vacate! We have now been here for 3 hrs had to beg for a cocktail and were offered nothing more than a counterfeit apology! The ONLY thing this place has going for it ,is very kind Valet parking Attendants. I am sure this is like so many venues in Laguna Beach, horribly managed and they count on people who do not live here. It is purely a tourist trap they could careless about the customer or the experience! Pure garbage! Do Not waist your time.
