I always order the Bangkok bowl, and recently in the past few months they have been very inconsistent with the quality of this bowl. It’s been very dry, lacking sauce, and with very little protein. They’ve also increased their prices which is understandable but it doesn’t really justify it when you barely get chicken in the bowl and it’s not to the quality that it used to be.
The chocolate smoothie was the best I’ve ever had-but it was my husband’s. The fruit one was better when I added frozen banana at home.Food: 3/5
This new restaurant is set up like a chipotle. You step into a line look at what you want order your food and move down the aisle and pick whatever condiments you would like the salads are amazing. The staff was great at explaining how the process went and their chocolate chip cookie for dessert was out of this world, I so love there is now a healthy food choice in my area to go to. You can also build your own salad, by just a smoothie or shakes next time I think I'll try a smoothie.
I very often get a grain bowl to go,but last week a friend and I ate there together. I like the Harvest Bowl. I get it without almonds (allergy) and with tofu and extra sweet potatoes. It has farro, arugula, pumpkin seeds, golden raisins and your choice of chicken, steak or tofu. My friend tried the Mediterranean grain bowl and she had chicken with hers. We both enjoyed our meals. The service is fast. The portions are pretty good. It's a little on the pricey side. My only real complaint about Currito is that all but one of their smoothies are made with almond millk. The milkshakes they sell have peanut butter or Nutella. Not very fun for someone allergic to almost all nuts.
The most popular chicken substitute option on the menu has ZERO flavor. Go somewhere else. I had to get like 5 extra ranch dressings to make this edible. And I paid for each individual dressing. They NEED MORE SEASONING! This tasted like cardboard wrapped in a tortilla.
