Catfish Johnny's - Lake Panasoffkee

The overall experience was good, but the homemade tartar and ranch sauces were outstanding.

The portions are small and there is an additional $2 charge for splitting an entree. We were informed that we could not order a beer from the attached lounge, even though we observed other diners being served beer by the waitstaff. We had hoped for a better experience at this restaurant, but unfortunately, we will not be returning.

Catfish Johnny's is a family-owned restaurant with a laid-back, welcoming atmosphere and comforting home-cooked meals. While the majority of their menu consists of fried dishes, there are also a few other options available. The staff is consistently friendly, and the beer is always served nice and cold.

What a find!!!! Wish it was closer. Food was outstanding! Employees very nice and great service. I could go on and on. I WILL GO out of my way to get here again. The all you can eat perch was some of the best perch I've ever had. Prices were great too. I could go on and on. Great vibe. Old school. Taxidermy on the walls. Loved it.
