Absolutely incredible food and the owner is so kind and genuine! While I was waiting for my to-go order he brought me lentil soup to try, which as other reviews mention, is absolutely DELICIOUS!! I basically never order soup anywhere, but I absolutely will add some to my next order from here. The gyro/chicken combo I got (added chicken to gyro combo) was sooo good. Everything was amazingly seasoned and super tasty

I took my daughter with me to pick up dinner for our family tonight. The people who run this place are so wonderful. They were so catering and so welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious. We will be coming back again very soon. I highly suggest the lentil soup, the lamb and the hot tea. Yum!

I want to begin this review by mentioning that I am a travel blogger and have had the opportunity to dine at many restaurants around the world—both good and bad. I can confidently say that Jons Kebab House offers one of the most delightful meals I've experienced. Although the restaurant has a simple setup with picnic tables on a terrace, the culinary experience is a solid 5 stars! The owner, Jon, was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to accommodate my tomato allergy. He even prepared special treats tailored to my dietary needs and preferences. Since it was my birthday, I was pleasantly surprised when he offered me a rice pudding infused with unique spices as a special treat. This place is truly a culinary gem located in San Diego County, near the Santee Lake resort. And then...

This is not your ordinary Mediterranean restaurant. The flavors here are truly distinctive. They offer a variety of dishes, including soups and palows (stones), along with kebabs, burgers, gyros, fries, and lamb specialties. Everything is prepared fresh upon ordering, so be prepared to wait or consider calling in your order. I'll definitely return!

The Chicken Qabuli was seasoned to perfection. The chicken, the rice, the salad—my fiancée devoured it. The Spinach Curry was rich in flavor and cooked beautifully; it was so satisfying that you wouldn't even miss the meat. Everything was incredibly tasty, but it never felt overdone. Every dish was prepared with delicate precision. I will definitely be coming back here!
