The Growling Gator - Lambton Shores

This is a fantastic place to visit after a day at the beach! They offer a spacious patio as well as indoor seating with views of the beach. I ordered the chicken tenders along with a refreshing Corona, and both were absolutely delicious. It's the perfect spot to take in some beautiful beachside scenery. The service was friendly too. I highly recommend it!

I visited this restaurant for dinner last week and overall, it was a positive experience. The food was quite good, and the drinks were absolutely fantastic. However, I did have one issue: the table they assigned us was too high for me to reach the floor, making it uncomfortable to sit there. Being short, I couldn't even lean forward properly. We asked the hostess if we could move to a different table where the chairs were more suitable, but she seemed annoyed, rolled her eyes, and reluctantly agreed. I’m not sure why she seated us there in the first place, especially since we were the only ones in that area, and it appeared that she didn’t seat anyone else there afterward. Despite that hiccup, everything else was delightful!

Gator provided an excellent experience for us. The service was outstanding, with a very friendly server. The atmosphere had a wonderful tropical vibe. The appetizers were excellent as well.

Lovely spot at the beach for a good meal! Went on a not so busy day, so service was super quick, it wasn’t too crowded or loud, and the food was delicious. There were multiple vegetarian options on the menu which is always a bonus. Not too pricey, you get a good amount of food for what you pay, I’d say it’s pretty fair. Our waitress was extremely nice as well. The restaurant itself has a very fun atmosphere with a great view of the beach, and quite a lot of seating. Will definitely return next time I’m in the area!

Location of restaurant is great! Good service. We had fish and chips, it was just ok. However, the cleanliness was issue, we saw food on floor and table, end up eating there’s not too peaceful and relax. If you come here yourself, you won’t be alone, there’s dozen of flies welcome you when you sitting down, and your hands will be so busy to keep them away. But they love to stay you.
