It is a self service where there are numerous antipats (formings, sliced, under the oils that are prepared at the moment, to follow various types of first (ribollita, sformati) and for second traditional dishes type trippa. Good quality. Sweets and drinks aside. Friendly service and account that will please you. The restaurant is open from Friday to Sunday and you have to book it in a good time. If you're not from the place, have a nabvgator.
The restaurant is located in an ancient shop. Inside there are numerous ancient and modern objects. Single that we need from ourselves but ten steps don't hurt. Excellent and abundant appetizers, first typical Tuscans and a second, sweets. All great, also in reference to the value for money.
Two couples of golosi, a local chosen by chance at 10 o'clock in the evening on google, a dinner we will remember long. The room already of its is very special, an entrance and two rooms, a large room and a barrel cellar with exposed bricks, bursts of collections of all kinds from the old tin boxes to the glass syringes, from dagherrotipi to historical memorabilia. In the middle of the large tables, two per room, with place for ten people each. You come and sit down, say hello to the other food and eat, eat, eat... The service is buffet-style and is found of everything including the owner's invented berries such as dried figs filled with herring with a dried fruit sauce and sesame seeds or herrings in sauce with dried fruit. Two combinations I would have imagined, but they get perfectly married. In addition to these are all the classic Tuscans, cheeses, cured meats, savoury pies, pastries, onions soup... and good wine. It is managed by the owner along with his wife and young daughter all of an exquisite kindness and friendliness. The bill? 25 euros per head, yes, you understood well, only 25 euros. I'm just sorry I'm not from those parts. It would certainly be one of my favorite places.
Very vintage premises, behind the Arno argine. Buffet menu at a fixed price 18€ to be added coffee and dessert drinks. Typical Tuscany and home cooking with good and well-made dishes. A mention aside deserves the Ribollita really at the top. It is convenient to book and payment is only in cash.
He ate himself out, sinned... flats in the norm, sliced cutters on paper plates... but isn't it the academy of the crock?
