The banchan was served quickly, and there was a coleslaw dish among the three options. I had never tried that before, so I'm not sure if it's really Korean. The server was very pleasant and efficient, offering refills of the banchan. The bibimbap was generous overall, but the portion of meat was a bit small for me. However, I am used to large portions as an overfed white American, so it might be typical for Korean portions. I took some leftovers home because there was plenty of food. The flavors were good, and surprisingly, the fried egg was delicious. While this might not be the best Korean food I've ever had (I'm from SF), it was good enough for me to want to return and try other dishes. Despite it being a late lunch, the server kindly gave me a discount even though the lunch prices were not in effect. The restaurant was busy with mostly Korean customers, including a large family group who seemed to be regulars. I'm looking forward to going back.
The food at this restaurant is excellent, the service is amazing, but be prepared to wait a bit when they are busy. The staff is extremely friendly, and the traditional food is excellent. The homemade kimchi is delicious, and everything on the menu that I have tried so far has been great. Overall, I would give this restaurant a solid 5-star rating.
The pictures say it all. If you want authentic Korean cuisine, I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is delicious and the prices are great!
My favorite Korean restaurant of all time! Family owned and small place but they sell Korean and other Asian snacks at the door while you wait for the one waitress to seat you. Cannot really blame them for being understaffed or slow, the pandemic has really hit minority family businesses hard. The food is always amazing and at a decent price, although not cheap. The banchan (side dishes that come after you order) are really good and leaving you even more hungry, which is great when you have a lot of food to finish as my boyfriend and I did! The staff are extremely kind and we will definitely be returning.
My search for authentic Korean food has been satisfied. Seoul Korean restaurant has a varied menu with many options. It was clean and Covid spaced, six foot, masks required. I ordered Bilgogi , Korean bbq beef. It came with healthy portions of delicious sides. (Banchan) I also ordered from their large selection of Soju which had many flavor options. Service was great, place was Covid packed. I was a single diner quickly seated with great service..also bbq tables are available, in a separate section, for larger groups.
