Tala American Bistro - LATHAM

Our server was polite. my sangria was too sweet and after a few sips reminded me of robitussin. the lobster bisque was a lobster flavored cream broth with absolutely no substance was more like cream of mushroom soup without the mushrooms. my chicken piccata and sides were good, but not exceptional and the hard fish of my partner had a very sweet sauce not to our pleasure. the restaurant is attractive, but we were disappointed by eating the 4.6 review and the photos of eating led us to a qualitatiw high quality culinary experience. I'm sorry to say we don't plan on returning.

We were impressed from the moment we walked in when the hostess said “Happy Birthday” to when she said “Happy Birthday” again when we left. Very attentive waiter, excellent service. We had the Brussel Sprouts appetizer- delicious. We all loved our entrees. They were out of the Lasagna Dessert, so we shared the yummy cheesecake. We will be back!!

I wanted this restaurant to be great, but was disappointed. decor was sticky and the food was heavily based on creamy and butter, instead of the aromes of food, and the prices were high for the mediocre quality of the actual food. the service was great. this is a place where I would visit another drink and maybe a starter, no dinner.

Patron since the opening. eating is consistently perfect. always professional on the phone side. Server/Staff are all beautiful, competent, clean, they speak clearly and know the menu. a small, modern local favorite with a beautiful outdoor dining terrace as well as book online. very simple. they also upgraded their dining chairs. such a fantastic addition to these padded, soft, highly curved back support with armrests. - Your grandmother or aunt was. very good decision for angelo mazzones person about this job. to august.
