Shuler's B-que - Latta

The place is really neat and picturesque. log cabin decoration. eating was delicious! everything we tried was very good. the server were very polite. there is also a country store.

Shuler's Bar-B-Que has the best barbecue in the South. I was driving through the city and decided to stop for a meal, especially after seeing the parking lot full of cars. The restaurant owners and staff at the take-out counter were incredibly friendly and patient as they described the many delicious menu items they offer. It was my first time trying the pork barbecue, and it was absolutely amazing. Both the owner and the staff made great recommendations, and I got so much food for a great low price. I loved the generous portions. The restaurant was very clean, the customer service was excellent, and the food was served quickly. Mr. Shuler, I don't know what your secret recipe is for such tasty barbecue, but you definitely deserve an award. I give Shuler's Bar-B-Que 5 stars. I wish this place was closer to Columbia, SC. I have been coming to this restaurant for 5 years. I wish they served pulled pork with the sauce already mixed in and that the bar offered ribs. The mac and cheese could use a bit more salt and pepper. However, I love the cookies! The building and staff are great.

The barbecue at Weinstock's was decent. The baked chicken and ribs were tasty, but overall the food was lacking in flavor and was just average. Unfortunately, I became ill after dining at this restaurant.

I've heard a lot of good compliments on Shuler's. I stopped by but decided not to eat. I didn't realize the place was so large until I walked in. They were not busy at the time I stopped by. I did take a couple of pics. I will definitely go back soon to try the food out!
