Excellent everything is fresh specialties like homemade spring rolls Few tourists and frequented by locals Perfect for a stop while visiting the city I recommend
I think this cafe has new owners. We had morning tea. Delicious chocolate brownie which was very much like fudge. Very well presented. Coffee and hot chocolate was made just how we like it. Staff very friendly. It is more of a restaurant than cafe as the menu had a list of Asian and Australian meals. The selection of cakes and biscuits was good.
After walking the streets of Launceston looking for a nice place for breakfast and not wanting the usual bakeries and franchise run of the mill food we came upon Yolanda's. The staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming. Our breakfast was fresh and beautifully cooked, perfect poached eggs, bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms and wilted spinach all served on top of thick toasted bread along with a beautiful coffee. It was a delight to dine with people that their happiness shows through their food.
This little cafe is tucked away at the end of an arcade just off Brisbane Street. We arrived after the lunch time rush and wanted coffee and cake. The appearance of the café from outside isn't much to look at and we nearly didn't go in. But our cappuccinos were very nice and our cake was presented beautifully on a plate with cutlery and a serviette. The most annoying part was the Asian lady behind the counter was talking constantly to her colleagues in a very loud annoying voice. She didn't shut up even for a minute. This ruined our experience. You need to have a bit of consideration for your paying customers if you want them to come back. We won't be.
