It tasted mostly like mustard. We didn't really care for the cole slaw. It had a funnytaste I can't explain. The chicken was good except for the skin which was rubbery and chewy. Kind of disappointing cause theskins normally my favorite part. The hot sauce on the chicken was the bomb and i dipped my catfish in it. The fries, rolls, veggies with rice, and hushpuppies were good. I went out back and ordered a **** mary and it was good. The workers were allvery friendly and helpful. Restaurant was clean. We got Tons of food for 29 bucks could've easily fed 4 people. I'd like to goback and try something different.
Secret hidden gem that I MUST post about but hate it because I want it to stay hidden!!! Customer service to a T!! The owner and his family run this place and it?s a pleasant surprise if you don?t judge a book by its cover on the outside!! Tableclothsinside, flowers, clean, TV?s and Fabulous backyard full service bar for late night entertainment!!! God bless and great jobteam!!!!
Wonderful wholesome homemade food that reminds you of Grandma's dinner! Wonderful atmosphere! Also an amazing outdoor bar under a great Oak Tree with 3 massive tvs and music!. Can not wait to go back later this week.
The chicken is great, but don't skip the fried catfish (it was super tasty). They have a great back deck when the weather is nice and a good selection of local craft beers to wash everything down.
We have been a few times and we are never disappointed. This family owned business has great service and even better food. You have to try their lemon pepper rotisserie chicken and the bread pudding. Or just stop in for a beer or two.
