They have a staggering amount of keg and cask lines that would keep even the most fussy craft drinker entertained. With one large open space which features their brew kit down the side. Only their lager seemed to have been brewed on it but I guess brewdays are limited when you're a pub. Prices were a little above average but to be expected from the location. We visited on a busy Saturday in December and the service left a lot to be desired unfortunately. It does look like they do a good pizza as well but there's plenty of stiff completion in Leeds and other than a nice meeting place it wasn't quite the type of pub we prefer. Definitely worth popping in if you want a very large selection of different beers though.
The prices for drinks at this restaurant have increased by 50%. I ordered a vodka lime and lemonade in November for £4.50, but the same drink in December 2023 was priced at £6.50. This seems like a ridiculous markup - £4 for a shot of vodka, £2.50 for a splash of lime, and a sliver of lemonade. This is unacceptable. I would recommend avoiding this establishment, as they are clearly trying to rip off unsuspecting customers.
Not been for a few years and as good as ever. Friendly helpful service, great beers and nice atmosphere. Great place to go with my wife.
After being a regular customer with friends family for several years I have paid my final visit. I was refused entry on Saturday evening with my 3 friends (all respectable people in their 60's). My crime I had been to a football match. I was asked to undo my jacket by the doorman because I was displaying a football related logo the size of 5 pence I was made to feel like a criminal. None of us had been drinking or were behaving in a loud manner but I was treated by the doorman in such an unpleasant manner which was extremely embarrassing upsetting. We went over the road to The Brewers Tap , a welcoming bar who accepted our custom without issue. I'm not sure if the manager or the brewery are aware or even care about how their customers are treated but they have lost all our custom. No more mid week drinks pizzas for me when the pub is having a quiet night as it was made perfectly clear that I am not welcome here. A very disappointed saddened ex customer.
Eglo Pescobar’s debut as quiz master at the first quiz night at Tapped Brewery was a hilarious ride! From quirky quiz hats to mispronounced words, he had us laughing non-stop. Can't wait for more rounds of Eglo's comedic genius!
