The pani-poori, saag and makki ki roti, chapatis and vegetables are the most delicious I've had in the UK. The owner, Sudhender Sudhir, is a charming man who is well-versed in the culture of India/Pakistan. The food is even better when his wife is in the kitchen, as she uses less oil than the hired chef.
I was disappointed with the thali and daal at this restaurant. The saag was too spicy for me to eat and I couldn't taste the spinach or potato. This was not the usual quality I expect from this place. I will be trying other Punjabi restaurants in the future.
Friendly, clean. The food was OK but not as good as other vegetarian restaurants in the area, and not as good as other Punjabi restaurants in Leicester.
I always try to call in when I am in the area and collect some Homemade Samosas for the family, the accompaning dip is very tasty (family secret I am told! . Service and welcome very friendly.
The curries here taste so much more home made than the gujarati run tiffin place options around ...brilliant aloo gobi and daal really tasty and wholesome and the aloo parathas are better than homemade!!
