Food must be ordered and prepaid at the bar. Previously and... Delivery on Friday was surprisingly good. Would go back.
Sunday dinner booked. Burgers and chips or pizza, but everything else on the menu is overpriced, cooked and tasteless. The mains come with potatoes and steamed vegetables. If you sit in the restaurant, you have to get up and go to the other room... and order at the bar? No table service. So expect to wait with all others and people also order drinks. The band played 20 feet away so you can't hear the bar staff and you can't hear. Bar staff defensive, aggressive and rude. From her depth. Food came apart at different times for 10 minutes. The food tasted like newly heated school meals.
The food was terrible. The steaks were undercooked, so we sent them back three times before deciding to give up. The burgers were overcooked. We ended up having to go to Woolworths to find something to eat. There was no manager present at the restaurant.
Located in Leura, this restaurant is a true hidden gem. Accessible by vehicle through the west entrance at the ramp to the highway, followed by a short walk along the north side of the station. The food, atmosphere, and service were excellent, although slightly slow, likely due to ongoing renovations. When the weather is nice, opt for outdoor seating to enhance your dining experience.
