The Bull On The Green - Lewes

Visited this evening with my daughter and son in law and had a fantastic three course meal. The setting was perfect, candles and fairy lights, roaring fire and lovely background music. My starter of crispy lamb ribs in pea and mint purée was tasty and filling. I had the mixed meat roast with 8 or 9 vegetables and an enormous Yorkshire pudding. The lamb, beef and pork was plentiful and so tender. To finish off I chose sticky toffee pudding with clotted cream and butterscotch sauce. Service was excellent and friendly. Would thoroughly recommend!

Very attentive and friendly staff, good range of food and reasonably priced too... Lovely atmosphere, plenty of parking and the log fires were on what' not to like? Also, a superb selection of cheeses for dessert AND enough crackers (as usually this ratio is misaligned in restaurants I've eaten at!!!

My husband and I went for a three course dinner at the pub last night and the pub was warm and inviting. The food was excellent! Everything we had was cooked to perfection and presented beautifully on the plate. The service was impeccable, we had two excellent servers who were friendly and super attentive! We will definitely be back soon and will continue to recommend this pub to everyone we know! Thanks so much!

A friend and I went for dinner, the place is charming, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing, will definitely go again. Great food, great service.
