The curry was thin, with no depth and no flavor. It definitely needed something. We had orders shrimp as a protein but got chicken, which was dry and flavorless as well. The only good part about this curry was the pineapple. The summer roll was not great either. All I could taste was lettuce and Gould barely find any shrimp. The crab fried rice was good. Was a good thing there was plenty of it, as that was the only dish we ate. Service was very friendly. Honestly, I gave Siam the benefit of the doubt with 3 stars because I would probably go back Ann's try another dish, just not a curry.
I had Siam's food twice. I really loved the vermicelli salad but felt okay with the green curry. I was fine with the curry being somewhat watered down in terms of consistency and mild in flavor but I remembered the bell peppers in the green curry were not cooked through enough. Also some of the veggie pieces could have been smaller. It makes sense that bigger pieces save time for the prep, it affects eaters' experience. And that's what makes food great, right? Just tiny touches. On the other hand, the salad was punchy with fish sauce, fresh greens, noodles, and all the fixings. Both flavor and ingredients were excellent. Very nice restaurant in downtown Lewisburg, PA. It was a beautiful summer evening, so we sat outside. Nice clean area and well maintained. Everything we ate was super fresh and full of flavor.
Food: Average Thai food. Big portion sizes, enough for 2 meals. Thai iced tea and Thai coffee were good and not too sweet. Service: a little slow. I think they were understaffed. But very friendly! Sesting: we sat by the wall. It was a little tight, I hit my elbow on the decorative window. Conclusion: wouldn't be in a rush to return. Might go if we or visiting friends and family are craving Thai food.
Friendly staff great food! We sat inside due to the weather but really enjoyed the food! Yellow curry and Penang curry we're good and the fried vegetable rolls were so tasty we ate them before we took a pic!
