Contribuer aux commentairesDuring a family outing in Lexington, we received several recommendations for Distilled, and I have to say that it lived up to the hype. It's rare for my wife and me to be truly impressed by a restaurant in terms of its food, staff, and atmosphere, but Distilled delivered on all fronts. We started with the poutine and handmade meatballs, followed by the filet, NY strip, Henry burger, and pork chop. For dessert, we had chocolate mousse, lemon pound cake, and caramel ice cream. All the food is pictured with this review. In summary, here’s a quick rating by category: - Decor: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Ambiance: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Appetizers: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Entrees: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Desserts: ⭐⭐⭐ (a bit underwhelming compared to the rest) If you're looking for a fine dining experience in the Lexington area with fantastic food, great service, and an inviting atmosphere, Distilled on Jefferson is a must-visit!
I went for brunch and didn't enjoy it. The menu was limited, and they had run out of one of the items. The salmon was tasty, but the Croque Monsieur was a letdown. The building itself has a lot of charm, though there was some strange electric keyboard music playing in the background. Parking in the area is also quite limited. While the place has its appeal, I probably won't be coming back.
The ambiance is fantastic, and the food and drinks are excellent! They have an extensive selection of bourbons to choose from. The crab and caviar soup is absolutely extraordinary!
This restaurant probably doesn?t need another superlative 5-star review, but I?m going to give one anyway. Why? Because it?s impossible to over-praise this restaurant. I live part time in NYC and even there it?s hard to find a restaurant so spot-on with EVERYTHING: the food, the service, the ambiance, the cocktails? Where?s the Michelin star? This place is that good. The meatballs, the fried chicken, the smoked chicken, the dry-rubbed filet, the dessert: everything was not just delicious, it was all memorably delicious. And the service??our waiter was so exceptional that I wondered if he mistook us for someone famous. Distilled on Jefferson is a restaurant I?ll not soon forget.
Quaint, small upscale restaurant in Lexington. We started off with the appetizer, poutine. Very delicious! We ordered the salmon with asparagus, goat cheese ravioli and hamburger for meals. It was all very delicious! And the chocolate mousse was delightful.
