Manti Lookout - Liberia

Amazing view of the National Park. Peaceful restaurant on the highway. Beautiful decor and delicious food.

Over Manti to Modsliden wounded around Lake Arenal, forced us to turn to Liberia. Appropriate price, attentive service and delicious food. Had the married special, the chicken, beef or fish, rice and beans, plantains and a salad included. The chicken was well seasoned and not dry. Beef was a rock steak with caramelized onions. We also ordered the shrimp con arroz, which was similar to an Asian shrimp fried rice. Decent size components. 3 dishes, 2 teas, 1 coffee and 3 bottles of water was ~30 colonies. The menu is in Spanish, but the servers speak English and will be happy to explain/translate.

One of the best meals in Costa Rica, delicious, local, well served and cheap. Stop!
