Vicenzo is a wonderful host and I highly recommend trying the Italian antipasto platter, parmigiana, burgers, and pizzas. The pasta dishes are also outstanding. In my opinion, this is the best Italian restaurant in Limerick. The prices are very reasonable and the gelato is delicious as well.
Our experience at this restaurant was truly wonderful. Vincenzo, the host and owner, warmly welcomed us and continued to make us feel at home throughout our visit. The menu is extensive and authentic, and Vincenzo's passion for the quality of the food really shines through. As a party of two vegans and a vegetarian, we were pleased to be presented with a separate vegan menu and Vincenzo was understanding and supportive of our dietary choices. The pizza was exceptional, one of the best I have ever tasted. I am curious to know his secret. When we visited on my son's birthday, Vincenzo surprised us with vegan dessert, candles, singing staff, and even took a photo for us as a memento. It was a truly special touch. The ambiance is relaxing, the food is delicious, and the staff is caring. I am already looking forward to returning.
I ordered the broccoli cauliflower bake and it was just those two vegetables mixed with some mashed potatoes in a dish for €15. I can't speak to the other dishes but this was really quite disappointing. I was impressed they had a separate little vegan menu, you have to ask for it to be brought out. I'd suggest to try any of the other few dishes.
As there were limited options we were happy to find this restaurant. It was fully booked inside but luckily we could still sit at the roofed terrace, which was cosy so that worked out well but maybe reserve if you can. Ask for the vegan menu. We got the vegan squash risotto and penne. As I was missing greens we ordered an additional portion of steamed greens. The penne turned out to be linguine but was tasty. The risotto was very dry and tasteless. All in all an okay option but not that tasty and quite expensive.
I was passing through Limerick and thought I’d give this place a go. They have a great vegan menu, decent pricing and plenty of options. Really great to see! I ordered the bruschetta as a starter and a pizza as my course with a pint of Guinness. The bruschetta was decent and they used something to really add some great flavour tasted like an infused oil or something. The pizza was very large. You definitely get your money’s worth. The dough was nice and light and the crust was cooked just perfect. Lovely toppings as well. My only complaint was the pizza was fairly salty. I had mine with olives but usually I don’t find the pizzas over salty with them on it’s a great balance but maybe some additional sea salt or something was added to the finishing touches of the pizza. Other than that the pizza was pretty tasty and they pour a good pint of Guinness. And again very pleased with the great vegan menu. The friend I was with really enjoyed their meal.
