I used to eat frequently at the Nood in Lisbon's Chiado neighborhood. The food was excellent and portions generous. The service was attentive and friendly. So I was looking forward to eating at the new Nood in the Campo Pequeno, near my apartment. What a disappointment! The food was mediocre and the portions small. As for the service, it was slow and disorganized. The waiters didn't seem to care whether we were there or not. Obviously, the management is not interested in repeat customers. One of the main problems is that waiters move constantly between the ground floor and another restaurant on the first floor. They disappear for five minutes or more at a time. In my case, I asked for extra coriander with my ramen and the waiter said that would be easy to do. My ramen came without any coriander. By the time I noticed he was gone. And he didn't reappear for at least five minutes. Meanwhile, with the soup getting cold, I simply decided to eat it. Getting the bill and paying for the meal was also needlessly difficult. All in all, this is a restaurant to avoid unless they get their act together
Good quality, average prices and good quality. Competent staff.
