Instead of the glitzy modernity of most newer restaurants (especially in the Heights or out West , this place has a cozy, historical feel to it. The walls are plastered with old posters and sculptures, most about food and culture from Europe, but one that caught my group 's eye was a 70 's art poster of the Joker from Batman. There are oil paintings and band posters, some are framed, most aren 't. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to it, but I didn 't ask either. We came in after a Heights Shop Ship, so we came in somewhat awkwardly with beers in our hands. The man at the front counter happily took our empties, and said it was fine if I wanted to finish mine (which was uncommonly generous, and a pleasant surprise, although I wouldn 't expect it to happen every time . The menu is classic Italian fare, and a bit on the pricey side, with most entrees running $15+ without sides. When we did order, each of the three of us was asked Would you like a salad? We were all very hungry, so all of us said yes, and only after our orders had been taken did it occur to us that those weren 't included with the entree (they weren 't, it was extra . Two of us had a deep dish lasagna and beef dish, Cannelloni I believe it was, and it was delicious. My House Salad was also very much worth it, despite having ordered it kind of on accident. Our third member got a build your own pasta dish with meat sauce, Bolognese, and liked it as well. We weren 't drinking more at the time, but they also have an extensive wine list that I 'll have to bring the wife back to rate properly. Our service was prompt and courteous, and all in all it was a terrific experience. At the end of the day, I ding a star for prices to portions and the confusion on the salads, but everything delicious. A great spot for a casual but intimate date night ; Oh! And there is an outdoor patio for when it 's nice out
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING ! Best restaurant in all of Little Rock, the apps, the service, the main course, omg seriously y'all.... it is sooooo good!! Try chicken parm! Seriously though, my mind was blown. I will definitely be back!!
We went on a weeknight and there was hardly anyone there! It was quite nice!! Parking was ATROCIOUS!! Waiter was attentive and made good suggestions! I had some sort of pesto chicken with pasta and my friend had prego chicken bake, or something similar. Both were undersalted but VERY delicious!!!! Will for sure be returning!!
I got and had dream this place was. I never tasted so much canned bullshit in my life. The ambience was cool service was ****. Tasted like I was eating it off off LA bad trucks. Bad effort's, bad taste shitty ,service offered me rolls from another table. And what Italian. I've been to Italy an this place suck balls. I can do this in my sleep. Not even worth my time , work a day to pay for what I had. Sloppy seconds is what I say. There's an Italian him I say. Take me back to Italy, where I can speak fluently....Good luck on your rich folks that pay for the price , second guess your dice...I will never be back to dance to say... good luck on your shitty stay
The chicken was little bland for my taste, but there aren't a lot of great Italian restaurants around the rock. The sauce made up for it in flavor (I had chicken piccata, with extra caper sauce as an alternative to the sauce usually served). The food was well portioned, I even split my dish with my co worker as I usually cannot have a full portion. I just wish the chicken had been seasoned and not cooked to a dry state.
