First time at the Whitehouse for at least 25 years and the place hasn’t changed one bit in a good way. Arrived at 545 on a Saturday afternoon you can’t book unless larger table over 5 but went early it was rammed already which is a good sign . Food gammon eggs very tasty lady had steak strips in a spicy sauce all enjoyed very much two pints of cider and two large red wines £52 all comparable to the other. Saddleworth must go to the Church Inn is it as good no but food still very good and serving staff great . Enjoyable will go again 7/11/2023 revisit Welcomed by staff on a miserable wet cold Tuesday afternoon . Warm inside roaring fires great start.
