I ordered three vegetarian tapas dishes: sweet potato with dates and wrinkles, aubergine with tomato, beet root and apfel and romanesco with root and mangle. I was curious about the potato peel when I wanted to see how they would balance the sweet of the ingredients and unfortunately not. it felt like you had eaten a dessert. the salad cream-like dressing on the aubergine drowned the taste of what should be the main ingredient, and the romanesco was overcooked and, like sweet potatoes, drown in the sea of the grass (coriander, rakete et al. . eating was not terrible, but it was under average and, at £7, it would be a court, something overpriced
100hoxton is a beautiful place with delicious food and a cool industrial atmosphere. the service is good and friendly, and there are great vegetarian options. we went for Saturday brunch and unfortunately the place was a bit too cold, and loud due to renovation work on the upper floor. in calmer summer months, I'm sure this place would be a jewel.
Very tasty eating, good service and atmosphere. this is my new place.
The food is tapas style and with four of us dining we got to try most of the menu all the food was interesting usual and delicious and was brought out at well timed intervals. All staff were friendly helpful. Didn't get to try the great looking cocktails instead opting for the reasonably priced wine list. Overall definitely worth a visit.
We had a great time at this low key restaurant. Food is great and mezze style although Asian inspired! Value for money is excellent and cocktails like the Hoxton special is a must
