The business will do well. If you want traditional Thai food this a must go to restaurant. Would highly recommend anyone who loves Thai food. Also get Kim as your waiter as other waitresses didn’t really care about you.
Amazing atmosphere along with the Thai decorations. The food is a taste of Thailand in the heart of London. Absolutely fabulous and will be returning soon.
Our London home is within walking distance of Kinkao so when we are visiting in the summer we eat here often with our guests. The food is good, the spice level is adjusted to tastes and sitting out by the riverside is lovely. Not today the staff seem to have changed or there are just so many? Nobody recognizes their frequent guests we arrived close to 2.00 pm so we were constantly reminded that the kitchen would close and orders had to be in by 2.30 pm well, we still had 30 minutes didn 't we? Aside from bringing the food and drinks to our table and the mandatory quick how is the food we had no further attention from the staff we could see them chatting away even when we were trying to get their attention. What was the final insult to the injury is that when we asked fro some seasonings fish sauce and chilli oil we were charged a pound each. AND we were asked if there was anything more we wanted from the kitchen as it was shutting down how many reminders does the staff direct to one table?
Very nice restaurant with Thai decoration. I don’t like spicy food and was able to choose a delicious curry which was just a little bit spicy.
I was very disappointed when I took my relative to Kinkao Thai Resturant who have taken over from Elephant Royale. When we called to book a table the lady that answered the call was hesitant with giving out her name found her rude with no customer service skills. I only came to eat here as the views are amazing and hoping the quality of the Thai dishes would be the same as Elephant Royale. When we ordered the starters and main the food was awful not even worth the money we paid nearly £80. The service was poor we were waiting a while for our food to arrive. The waiters don’t even come over to the table to see if your enjoying your meal. I was disappointed anyway when Elephant Royale closed down both their restaurants it’s a real shame. As Elephant Royale was one of the finest Thai restaurants and good quality food where me and my friends, family would go out and eat on a regular basis
