After attending a football match, I decided to stop by this restaurant. I had a delightful afternoon enjoying some drinks and tapas. The atmosphere was friendly and the staff was very welcoming. I will definitely be returning.
My recent visit to The Brown Cow was a mixed experience. The young female waitstaff were hardworking and friendly, earning a perfect ten out of ten. However, the older male manager was lacking in customer service skills, as he was on his phone instead of tending to guests. The food, including sea bass and cured flower cabbage, was delicious, and we observed appetizing meat dishes coming from the kitchen. We tried to make a same-day dinner reservation, but were informed of an 11pm cutoff time. Overall, the restaurant fell short of expectations, with room for improvement in customer service and overall management.
We have made online reservations in the brown cow public house so that we could have a Christmas dinner of the family there while we were on vacation from the usa. at the arrival we were quickly led to our table and handmade glasses champagner. our pre-ordered meals, consisting of appetizers, main course and dessert for each of us was a little slow to arrive, but the fact that it was Christmas dinner, we appreciate it, easy to visit and enjoy in the atmosphere. every table was taken and a steady stream of locals led through the bar. in our party of five, everyone loved each of their courses and during our 7-day vacation it was probably the best meal we had during our trip. the fact that two people are food in our family makes this quite meaningful. the neighborhoods of fulham and parsons green are very happy to be able to call the brown cow their local place.
Super recommend the brown cow (brother in the local favorites of the law.) great fondue with much cured meat and wine. fondue could be even better by adding something to it to give it a more smoky taste.
