Started with chips and salsa. chips were at a point warm and now stale, salsa was watery. The Antojito-Dip was very good, but much too much season on the tostadas. fischtacos were fat and had a lot of cheese. the taco sauce. large and plentiful. the server said they call it Siracha sauce. let's not go back.
We start with the drinks. we ordered a limette margarita and were mixed or asked on the rocks? margaritas are always mixed!? also had a pina colada and it came out to luke warm no ice at all. then the load came. bought Nacho chips. they were crispy and cold. the salsa was tasteless. we ordered tortilla soup, which was plentiful, hot and tasteful, but holy mounds of green paprika and wobble. two small chicken strips, two nacho chips down. although we enjoyed it, it was not even close to the authentic Mexican tortillae supp. for the main course we had chicken enchiladas and “tacos al pastor. the enchiladas were decent, but again, not authentic mexican. they were made with soft flour tortillas and sauces were in the tortillas. Mexican enchiladas use soft mais tortilla and sauces on the outside. there was very little meat in there. the sauce had no taste. they called it chipotle sauce it was just a skillful, unflavoured tomato sauce without heat to it now is the worst of the worst tacos al pastor in mexiko a holy dish that is loved by all. we expected soft maistortillas, specially spiced pork niblets with wobbles zilantro and limette and ananas. what we got was a spicy hot plate with few dog food kibble pieces of unfavorable blinded bark meat and a mound of tweezers and green paprika, old el paso hard mais flour tortillas not even close. if a mexican ever tasted what this El Salvador owner did (in the guise of the Mexican cuisine they would be extremely disappointed and disgusting. lower line, if you want Tex-Mex, they are better looking for a qdobo or lone star. if they want authentic Mexican food in the north, they go to detroit or toronto.
Consistently large foods at a very reasonable price. a bit slow, but hey, this is not fast eating; it is worth waiting for the extra minute.
This is the best Mexican food in London, On. I go there every Christmas get togetherevery years with friends. They come from Toronto every years with us.
