Portofino Pizzeria Deli in Long Beach is a hidden gem! Their pizza is amazing, and the deli choices are superb. This is a must-try destination for anyone seeking authentic Italian tastes!

We visited this restaurant for the first time to pick up our order. The interior was charming, and we plan to dine in next time. The staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful.

The Italian sub was disappointing, as it was bland with only salad and sliced ham, mortadella, and prosciutto. There was no cheese or tomato, which was a letdown. The pepperoni pizza slices were also not up to par. The cheese was overly salty and the pepperoni did not seem to be cooked properly. The crust was thin and the overall taste was terrible. I would not recommend ordering this. I can only imagine Gordon Ramsay eating at Portofino's and being appalled by the bad quality of the dishes. The chef should be ashamed of using mediocre ingredients and not taking pride in serving food at this establishment. It's a kitchen nightmare.
