The beef jerky was mediocre at best. The fried fish was good. They just need to pay attention to detail. OK food, great staff. It cost over 100+ for fish, shrimp papaya sala, and beef jerky.
Good Cambodian food with better parking spots than other places which is one of the reasons we go here. A little pricey but food is good. Give it a try.
Once a while dine here for some clams and ban chow. Usually came by during the slow time to eat and relax. Friendly staff and over time the server remember my favorite dishes, no need to see menu anymore haha. The dessert near the cashier always my favorite to go also, pumpkin custard and grilled banana cake? I think that the name lol
The Cambodian food was really good. My only knocks are the A/C wasn't turned on during a particularly hot summer day, making the Cambodian experience too real. The poor waitress had 10+ tables on a busy night all to herself. I assume it's some kind of family experience, but this poor girl is being ran ragged.
Sophy's been around forever and my Cambodian friends have all been here for its authentic food. $16 for each of the entrees we ordered seemed reasonably priced.-Beef lol lak: thin strips of beef was semi-tender. Loved the sauce that was on it. Good w rice.-Banh Cheo (Asian crepes): crepe w chicken and bean sprouts self-wrapped inside lettuce and various herbs w a peanut garlic sauce. This was more delicious than ones I've tried at some Vietnamese restaurants. I think it was supposed to have shrimp but it was 95% chicken....Love the banana wrapped sticky rice desserts that they had available at the cash register. We were told you could freeze and reheat them too.Bought grilled banana, jackfruit, and mung bean sticky rice.
