I’ll only ever return here if it’s a Friday night and I want a fun atmosphere to hang out with friends on the roof. The pros: The sauce has a nice flavor. The crust is tasty dipped in the honey or ranch. The wait staff was friendly. The cons: I had a long wait for one pizza, and hardly any customers. The mathematical area of the sauce and cheese on a mountain pie is so small! Yes, I got the mountain pie for the crust, but the pizza is literally half crust. They charge more for toppings on the mountain pie, which is totally backwards, since the prairie crust has more physical space for toppings. I can’t believe I paid $12 for this small “1 pound” cheese pizza. That same $12 could get me a large one topping stuffed crust at Papa John’s or Pizza Hut.
Just a poor experience over all. Beaujos is pretty dang good but this time was over the top poor quality/performance. The following was wrong: 1) Their app is messed up. When you order a create your own pizza, we called to see if it came with regular cheese and sauce on top of the $5/topping additions. That was incorrect. The app, used by the customer or server only gives you 6-7 options and cheese and sauce is not included. The server on the phone indicated it did though 2) No price was indicated at the time of placing the order on the phone. The above and following issues would have been mitigated if so. $48 dollars for a pizza that only had bacon onions beef on it. 3) 3lbs is not truly 3 lbs. This tared in at 2.57 lbs with the box included. 4) Due to no cheese and sauce being put on the pizza, the crust took the brunt of the heat and was scarred black. I hope they are able to fix the issues. Always had really good experiences with them before. Edit (8/10/21): Jaime (manager) was super kind and reached out to remake the pizza. It was phenomenal this time and the service was great. Thank you Jaime/Carter/Sara.
Ordered a calzone and small pizza to go. Was just warm when I picked it up and I have never had a pizza so dry. It’s like they forgot the sauce. Appeared to be over cooked bread and toppings/cheese. Even the calzone was dry. I’ll continue using my small local pizza joint and won’t be returning to beau Jo’s. Follow up: Stated it was over cooked and dry, that has nothing to do with quality ingredients. That has to do with a lack of ingredients and being overcooked by your chef. I will not waste another $50+ to maybe get better pizza. I 'll go where its always the same quality and half the price.
Very good pizza. Everything we had was way tasty! Staff was super helpful and they have a such a great beer selection. But oh man can we make this simpler. I felt like I needed a spreadsheet just to understand the menu! Was there with my grandma and we could barely figure it all out. Took a couple explanations from the (very kind) waitress to get it figured.
Been to different locations before and never been to this one. I was not disappointed! The food was amazing! It was hot, fresh and tasted great, the service was fast and friendly. Will definitely recommend if you are in the area. We will definitely visit again. My wife and I ordered the Dude Ranch mountain pie, and needless to say, is now our favorite pizza in town.
