Arajilla Retreat - LORD HOWE ISLAND

We spent a wonderful few days at Arajilla Resort to celebrate my 70th birthday. The accommodation was first class. The food was amazing, especially my gluten and dairy free meals and my 70th birthday cake. All the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, extremely helpful and always smiling. What a superb Resort!

We have just returned from a week at Arajilla Retreat. What a good choice we made! This is THE place to stay, to enhance the Lord Howe Island experience. The accommodation is comfortable, the food is exceptional and the staff are outstanding. We were made so welcome, and were so sad to leave. Could not fault a thing. The island itself is paradise. After a sensational dinner on Monday night I returned to the Arajilla Spa today for a fabulous holistic massage by the lovely Margie She knew exactly what I needed (especially on the aching calf muscles) following yesterday's Mt Gower trek. A delightful person and wonderful massage therapist in a most stunning setting inside a timber Yurt beneath the Banyan trees. Can't wait to come back to try the other Ayurvedic treatments including the steam bath thanks Margie!

A perfect week in paradise. Superlative food, impeccable service and elegant tropical decor. Surrounded by lush palm trees and bathed in gently filtered light, it is instant tonic for the stresses of city life. A special thanks to Sonja whose attentive and caring service made this vacation so memorable.

Stunning...The accommodation is fantastic, the service is wonderful and the meals are unbelievable. This is one of our favourite places on Lord Howe and even when we don't stay (have to share the love) we always have meal and drop in for a cocktail. 10 out of 10
