The mimosa they offer is excellent, with both personal and shared decanters available. The food is delicious and the service is fast and friendly. I have been coming to J&J for a few months now and it has become a regular Sunday spot for me.
I have never had eggs Benedict as delicious as the ones at this restaurant. The hollandaise sauce is exceptional. The space is small, but very charming and colorful. We were seated promptly and the service was excellent. Our waiter was friendly and patient. The outside of the restaurant is adorable and the other menu items were also delicious.
This place is great. The breakfast is amazing and the Unlimited mimosas are divine.
I recently dined at this restaurant and had a wonderful experience. The service was exceptional and the food was delicious. However, I was disappointed that I was not able to tip the waiter directly, as a 10% gratuity was automatically included in the bill. Given the outstanding service I received from my waiter, who was polite, gracious, and hardworking, I felt that the included gratuity was not sufficient, especially considering the size of my bill (just a burger and a coke for myself). The waiter had a great sense of humor, provided helpful recommendations, checked on me multiple times, and conducted himself in a professional and dedicated manner. I believe that individuals like him deserve more than the $1.85 tip that was included in my bill. I hope that the management considers allowing patrons to contribute more towards the gratuity for servers who go above and beyond. Despite this issue, I will definitely be returning to the restaurant, as it is conveniently located near my chiropractor and I now know of this charming little spot.
I suppose my review should be prefaced with the fact that the pecan citrus salad I ordered was HUGE! It was seriously the largest salad I have ever seen and the only salad I've ever ordered worth its price $10.95 . The salad came in a huge guitar-pick-shaped bowl and my friend noticed the bowl was even larger than my head! It was. The complimentary citrus vinaigrette was the perfect balance between sweet and sour. I loved every bite! This was seriously one of the best brunches I've had in LA. I would return, not just for another bottom -less salad, but also for a stack of their thick pancakes! Those things looked delicious!
