On a weekend trip through the central coast of California I stopped in to the Union Saloon in Los Alamos. The building built in 1880 has an interesting historical charm. Approaching the bar, I was quickly greeted by my bartender, Shalee. She was friendly and began to tell me about the various drink specials that were available. I decided to try a **** Mary and it was delicious! The homemade **** Mary mix, Tito's Vodka and fresh vegetable garnish came together to make a great drink. I had Two! Shalee was entertaining and kept everyone happy as she worked the bar. I had a good visit and recommend checking it out whenever you're around los Alamos.
Awesome Atmosphere. Great Cocktails Warm and welcoming environment in an amazing 1880'building The Saloon has shuffle board and a pool table It's a genuine gem
Food ok, Music turned up so high we could not talk or enjoy our meal. We loved the town and the building but won't be back. We will go to the other restaurant in town next time we stop there.
The location is great and the bar is awesome. I would recommend checking out Cisko Kid for dinner and heading over for drinks at the bar after. Los Alamos is a cute hidden gem.
