Angry Egret Dinette - Los Angeles

Came to LA from Nevada for the weekend and this place was near our motel so we decided to try it out. No regrets, the food here was SOO good. The staff was very very friendly, I didn't catch the name of our waitress but she was great. My kids ordered the waffles (delicious by the way and the one order of them was taking a little long, the waitress kept us informed on why and comped the waffle order for us, as well as gave us an extra order of fish tacos. We were very thankful and definitely recommend this place! When we come down for another Dodgers game, we'll definitely be making our way here again!! :

I saw this place on Infatuation LA’s best breakfast burrito list and it did not disappoint. I went with The Atwater, the vegetarian breakfast burrito, and it was incredible. It has mushrooms, scrambled eggs, peppers, and a few other things. It’s a little greasy and a lot of flavor. The tortilla is delicious, too. I also got the papas fritas and they were so crispy, they bordered on crunchy. The dipping sauce was delicious and the only issue was there wasn’t really enough. I should have asked for extra. The staff was really friendly and seating area outside was a nice atmosphere with plants all around and they had some music playing as well. I got there a little after they opened and it wasn’t busy at all, but by the time I left, most of the tables were taken. The tables themselves are a little worn down and dirty, but it added to the vibe.

Everyone at the Angry Egret is always kind to me and the food is fantastic, shoutout to the staff!!! Always gets me through the work day :

Friendly staff. Limited menu, but interesting selections. I very much enjoyed a butternut squash quesadilla that included a fried egg atop. The outdoor seating is very pleasant.

I don't know why there isn't a line out the door for this place, it feels like going to an incredible restaurant in coastal Mexico except for the prices, ha. The dinner menu was special and delicious, a lot of things you won't find at any otherrestaurant and a few local seafood items. Small but nice selection of beer and wine. The service was excellent and they evengave us tres leches for free because it was my friend's birthday. I recommend it!
