The plain one is called salmon something roll, and the raw onion in it is like putting garlic on a chocolate cake- doesn’t make sense in the taste. The worst part is the salmon and Ikura bowl. There’s strings and fish bone in the salmon… so disappointing. The only good thing about here is the service.
A great little Japanese restaurant with a nice traditional flair and great food.A sheer endless list of sake options, good for groups, too. Make sure to get a reservation if you plan to come here.Food: 5/5
This is my favorite Japanese restaurant in the whole of America and is probably the closest to a native japanese restaurant for a reasonable price in LA. very authentic sushi and friendly staff. The fish is extremely fresh, and they even have daily fish imported from japan. I would always go here whenever I come to LA. You can get anything on the menu and I guarantee it tastes good here. They provide free parking when billing at the parking lot beside the restaurant too. Definitely recommend.Tip: Get the assorted japanese pickles if the food is too bland.
Great little corner spot. I think the prices are also LA fair. I really enjoyed the dashi omelette, delicious and felt like homeFood: 4/5
Had a great dinner here with my sister. The shoshito peppers were a great start. The sashimi was nicely presented and very fresh. I had the spicy tuna tempura roll on the recommendation of the waitress and it was great. The salmon sashimi was my favorite. There was a great vibe inside. There was a mix of families and small tables with regulars at the sushi bar.
