La Brea Bakery The cafe has a naturally beautiful bakery look with its spacious interior, red brick walls and wooden tables. The pastry and breakfast menu is expansive. But the Croissant I got was one of the worst I had in LA. There are no layers, no flakes, the texture is very soft, more like a brioche. I was disappointed.
Super cozy place with fantastic bakery and bread. We had breakfast from avo bruschettas and pesto pasta. I didn't really like onions in my broschettas, but was combination of Avo and Oranges?. And dunes with raspberries and apricots were really delicious. Also they have a free parking for an hour, which is quite enough for breakfast
This place has one of the most unique avocado toast I ever had! It has orange, radishes and pistachios and things that you would normally not connect to an avocado toast and might have a hard time to imagine how it is all coming together. But there is a method of this madness. Somehow everything comes together nicely and creates a burst of flavors in your mouth. The orange adds freshness, pistachios supplement the crispy, radishes breaks the monotony of the usual aromas and avocado simply will be the star of the plate. They bake fresh bread there so that your toast also becomes mouthwater. It's a bit expensive, but it's worth it in my humble opinion.
Great for a casual brunch/lunch. Large menu without being too intimidating. Simple yet pleasant outdoor seating. Overall nice experience, would visit again.
