Contribuer aux commentairesIf I could give 6 stars for atmosphere I would. This place is beautiful, and has plenty of options for seating: at the bar, in a booth, upstairs on the indoor balcony overlooking it all, upstairs on the outside balcony overlooking the street. The drinks and food are good too.Food: 5/5
The place is absolutely singular and gorgeous. The service is excellent but I did not try the food so I cannot comment on that. Prices are reasonable considering the gorgeous decor and inflation in general! We will be back!Service: 5/5
When the Wolves 1st Opened we were able to go in to do a walk through. But this was our Newest Feast at the Wolves Downtown L.A!Yes, we totally pass this by on the street but when we do, we say to the Bouncer out Front.Nicest Man around!Make sure to say hello. ?He greeted us in, with a warm Welcome. We walked in and It was Open Seating. Now, the front of house was Open but the back seemed to be off limits. That wasnt going to stop us from eating there. ? After all we are Neighbors can smell the great food from our Open windows in our apartment. ??You know me, im all about the Architecture, and Artistic design of the building. Absolutely Elegant to the Eyes!Soft lighting with a Fun atmosphere. This is a spot of Music and conversation! While you enjoy the Vintage style of the Wolves, you can be sure the food is Just as Enjoyable. ?Try their Burger for example...Omg, best way to describe it is, a french dipped burger. Now you can ask for a extra toasted bun. But if you Wait to eat it the juices from the Patty will gently soak the bun but still taste 100% Delicious.Im not into soggy burgers, but this Burger had one absorbed bun and tasted deliciousness and savory without the Soggy effect. now ours came with a double patty and caramelized sautéed Sherry onions. good Lord. ?Stole my heart was the flavoring and the Cheese!!!Ohh i had NO COMPLAINTS.See, ive had burgers before, but this one seals the deal for me. ? think this will be my New Burger go to is, The WOLVES BURGER. Umm hell yeah.I usually take the buns off my burger and bipass the bread, but not with the Brioche Bun they 're serving it on. Mmmm yummmy.Need to give a Big shout out to Our servers. Meagann the Gentleman who i appoligize did not get his name because i didn 't want to disrupt him, he was helping a packed bar. I noticed he was a great server as well!I asked Meagann if she could bring me Cherries i love to add them to my soda. She came through right away with 3 on a toothpick. ?She Won My Heart with pulling through! She stopped plenty of times to see how we were doing. We were somewhat speechless because food was definitely on our minds. Haha ?All we could say was IT 'S GREAT! ?The fries... oh wow. So tasty. We had the Wolves Bread Pudding for dessert. ?Very tasty. A Chocolate chip raisin delight! VERY NICE TOUCH!Over All i loved the atmosphere. Very clean and great food smelling bar and nice ambience.I 'd so take friends, family and Have a date here ? you may even Spot some Spirits Other than the ones at the bar. ? ?This is the spot!Cheers to all the hard workers at the Wolves! You guys go the distance, with a Dancing swing, and high energy customer service! ? We will be back!
I stumbled across this place last night with a friend and it was the bar i didn’t know i needed. @thewolvesdtla was converted from the historic Alexandria Hotel and boasts an authentic 1910s interior design with art and antiques from across the country. It’s so perfectly curated, that I wasn’t the least bit surprised to learn their “goal is to create an environment that will breed the next generation of creatives.” There’s a performance stage in the back for live music, performance art, and “vaudevillian theater”. The lighting and the booths are very intimate, and the music isn’t too loud so it’s perfect for conversation. They have a front patio and BOTH indoor and outdoor balconies. I went late so the kitchen was closed and i didn’t see anything about an existing happy hour, but the drinks were strong and very creative with great presentation. We were feeling adventurous so we ordered a few specialty cocktails with special ingredients ranging from milk clarification, cream cheese, to even carrots. The music was even surprisingly pretty Black. My friend @wellillbefrank described it as, “An eclectic and well-rounded selection of hip hop ranging from 90’s jams to current bangers”. Bottom line is, we have nothing but glowing reviews for this place and you absolutely might bump into me here.
Good drinks and fun atmosphere. Charcuterie board was well done definitely add the cheese plate for $12 extra. However I am writing this review for one reason only (I am not the review writing type). Our bartender, Jason, was just awesome. Fun, attentive, knowledgable, professional and just a good dude overall. Made us a series of great drinks and checked back often to ensure every one was perfect and to our liking. Hard to find service like this anymore in DTLA or any big city for that matter. Great job Jason and thank you. And to Jason's boss give this man a raise!! We stayed a lot longer and ordered a lot more food and drinks because of this delightful individual. And we will be back.
